The author is a literature teaching of many years and argues that the US has been TVed to stupidity, particularily in logical thinking. TV and the media is so simplified which in turn produces the unthinking consumer Americans that we've become.
Dark Ages America by Morris Berman.
The final phase of empire.
This book was great and concisely explained much of what I believe about the future of America, which I believe is set to begin a decline. He covers the future economy, fuel issues, environment, foreign policy, Middle East, American politics and other subjects. He believes decline is inevitable and only suggests some ways to reduce the decline. We fall a few nations on the impotance list.
